SAMPLE PROJECTS
General instructions: The links provided below will bring you to the GroundPoint Pix4Dcloud portal. Navigation in the Pix4Dcloud portal is fairly intuitive, but here are some helpful hints for turning things on/off and navigating around:
- 3D data are Point Clouds or Textured Mesh
- 2D data are Orthomosaics
- Toggle between 2D/3D mode and turn the various Outputs on/off. 3D scans do not contain orthoimages.

Concrete Wall Detail.
This example project uses Pix4Dcatch to demonstrate the level of detail possible with a high-resolution photogrammetric scan.
Concrete Statue Detail.
This example project uses Pix4Dcatch to demonstrate what is possible with automated processing in Pix4Dcloud.

Note that improvements are possible in both photogrammetric coverage during data capture and in point cloud cleanup during processing, but this detail was possible by pushing the data up directly from the field over a cellular data connection and processing automatically in the cloud.
Active Construction Site.
This was an active construction site used to document as-built locations of drainage trenches and augment site plan modifications. Several deviations from initial design were indicated and resulted in overall design improvements prior to finished construction. This project used several separate Pix4Dcatch collections combined.
Redevelopment Site.
Documentation of existing conditions on abandoned or underutilized properties is important for both resale and re-design. In this case, detailed orthoimagery, planimetrics, breaklines, and topo were generated from the site scan to support redevelopment plans.
The image above gives dynamic access to the detailed orthoimagery. For access to the full project, click on the button below.
